Genesis 1:1 is not included in Cambridge University Library MS Add. 1753 (Writings).
This manuscript includes: Complete Masoretic Writings in physical order: 1–2 Chronicles, Psalms, Job, Proverbs, Ruth, Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations, Esther, Daniel, Ezra, and Nehemiah. The fully pointed and accented biblical text is accompanied by Masorah parva and Masorah magna. Concluding Masoretic and biblical lists and a prose colophon follow Nehemiah; securely identified biblical wording there is indexed as separate occurrences rather than inserted into the continuous Writings sequence. Fol. 1r carries documentary and ownership notes before 1 Chronicles begins on the verso, and fol. 143r is blank.
